Linking Policy.

This page has become necessary because the number of e-mail requests from new swinger sites for links has grown quite a bit..

A few things you should know before requesting a link..

1) We've been at this game a LONG time (in Net-time anyway). The webmaster has been running adult/swingers related websites since 1996. Please don't send us any lengthy information about the "20,000" members your site has registered in the first 3 days of operation or anything like that. We both know it isn't true and it also isn't necessary to exaggerate if you want to do a fair link exchange. Don't insult our intelligence. Trust us, we're not impressed.. Just ask honestly. A fair trade is always fine.

2) Quite frankly, and we hope we're not the first to tell you this, but if you have recently started a swingers website, you are most likely what we call in business "a day late and a dollar short". Where've you been the past 7 years? On an island? That being said, we still believe a new venture is worth a shot. 

3) The overwhelming majority of new swingers sites severely underestimate the costs, time and effort required to have a successful site over the long term. We check our links regularly and right now 6 month "new site attrition" runs at about 70%.. That's right, around 7 out of 10 of you will ask us for a link today, and won't be running a swingers site 6 months from now.  After the Visa & Mastercard rules & fees kick in, or the money you think you're going to generate by redirecting traffic to AFF or someone doesn't pan out,  server and advertiser fees sock you, and your dreams of having thousands of "legitimate" (that meaning, non-spam generated) surfers to your front page go down the drain...

4) Trust us, you DON'T have the best affiliate program around. We use 2 and we're happy with them. We're not interested in yours..

5) If you can understand all of this and still feel you have a worthy endeavor, then congratulations to you... On to #6

6) We're old school... You want a link, you provide a link. Your affiliate program is NOT a link exchange, and a top-list, where we have to send you traffic BEFORE we appear on your site is REALLY not a link exchange.. Link exchanges work one way and one way only.. You provide us with a banner or text link and we'll put you on our links page (yes, we do get traffic there as it's accessible from many areas of our site).. YOU then in turn will take our banner or text link, and also place it on an easily accessible links page of your own.. We'll check the link regularly and as long as we're still on your site, you'll still be on ours (unless we find you are a spammer or something unsavory)..

7) If this isn't too your liking, that's too bad for you because WE'RE the ones taking a chance on a new site with this policy. We've been doing this a long time and we really don't need your link (harsh perhaps, but true). We are a successful, well known, lifestyle club... Please don't try and convince us we NEED to link up with you. It insults both of our intelligence...
